Distinguished Graduate Requirements

In order to berecognized at graduation as a Distinguished Graduate you must turn in thefollowing requirements.

  1. Proof of Community Service Requirement
  2. One page typed Community Service Reflection
  3. Copy of High School Transcripts
  4. Copy of Transcript/Proof of Completed College Course

As stated inthe Animo Student/Parent Handbook...

DistinguishedGraduate Requirement: Students who qualify as an Animo Inglewood DistinguishedGraduate will complete the following:

A. 10hours Above and Beyond the Community Service Requirement.

  • Students must submit a community service verification sheet signed by the supervisor of the community service organization. These hours cannot be extra service hours completed at school. They must be community service hours completed off campus.
  • Students must submit a 1 page typed reflection essay on the community service experience.

B. Goabove and beyond the minimum A-G requirement and complete the recommended A-G courses below:

  • 3 Years of Social Studies/ History
  • 4 Year of English,
  • 4 years of Mathematics
  • 3 years of Science,
  • 3 years of Language other then English,
  • 1 year Visual Performing Arts,
  • 1 year College Prep Elective
C. Completed 1 course at a college oruniversity. The student mustreceive a ‘P' or a ‘C' or higher. Acourse without a grade will not be accepted.

D. Musthave a 3.0 weighted GPA.
