Guidelines for Clubs

Step #1 Charter your club as soon as possible.

Chartered clubs are under the jurisdiction of the Associated Student Body and that requires compliance to the school law as defined in the Education Code of the State of California and the administrative requirements and rules of Ànimo Inglewood Charter High School and Green Dot Public Schools.

Complete all sections of the charter application and submit to ASB and Administration.

Step #2 Establish Officers and Membership

Once the charter is approved, establish club officers and a membership list. All chartered clubs must establish their constitution within 2 weeks of club approval. Club constitutions include club purpose, officers, and membership requirements.

Step #3 Minutes

An agenda and minutes must be kept at all club meetings by the club secretary. All activity requests and fundraising requests must be accompanied by meeting minutes that reflect membership approval.

Step #4 Activity/ Fundraiser Requests

All activity and fundraiser requests must be submitted no later than two weeks before the date. The following must give approval: Student Council, Student Council Advisor, and an Administrator.
