What is Animo?

 "ANIMO" is a Spanish phrase that translates as: "vigor, mind, spirit, valor and the courage to overcome odds." Animo Leadership Charter High School is designed to empower an economically and ethnically diverse group of students with the "mind, spirit and courage to overcome odds," improve their academic performance and attain high-reaching academic and career goals.
