Watts, CA (myFOXla.com) - In September, Green Dot beautified Locke's barren campus with lush greenery and it's stayed beautiful.

The campus, once defaced by graffiti, still has its fresh coat of paint.

The halls remain quiet... the students have adjusted to uniforms... and each of them attends one of seven small Green Dot schools which will prepare them for college.
