Green Dot has opened eighteen high performing public charter high schools in Los Angeles. We serve neighborhoods where the traditional public schools are overcrowded and underperforming. Green Dot Schools have been successful because we have small schools with only 500-525 students, and we strongly encourage active parent participation. All schools operate based on Green Dot’s proven school model . All schools offer extensive extracurricular activities, including clubs, sports, field trips and additional after-school academic support. Most importantly, Green Dot schools are safe and offer a college-prep education for ALL students. It’s no wonder that over 96% of our most recent senior class graduated on-time and 66% of them are attending a 4-year university!
Green Dot schools are public schools. They are open enrollment, supported by tax dollars and do not charge tuition.
