This website is designed to help you gain access to resources such as college planning, career exploration, counseling issues, and study skills. Selecting a college is a new experience for many of our families. Sometimes the task is simple: the student knows he or she wants to live at home and go to a local college. On the other hand, others struggle to try to figure out which college they want to attend. The college center is a great place to start learning about the steps needed to be admitted to the university of your choice. You can create college and career portfolios that will allow you to track your progress and make the university application process painless and hassle free. We hope this website will help in that process. It is never too early to explore your college and career options and using this site gives you a head start.
Another valuable resource that can be accessed through this website is the testing and study skills section. The site offers links to free SAT and ACT test preparation online. The Study Skills section will help guide you to some of the techniques that will result in higher test scores and grade point averages. The counseling center highlights some important resources that will connect you with the proper agencies regarding issues of depression, suicide, violence, and drug abuse. It is a valuable source of information, especially when contacting a friend, counselor, teacher, or family member is not an option.
