Seniors
|
- Write or email four-year colleges and universities to obtain applications for admission and scholarship information.
- Complete a Brag Sheet and turn it in by October 1.
- Register for the SAT Reasoning Test and the ACT; in addition also register for the SAT Subject Tests or ACT with writing if required.
- Listen to the daily bulletins so you are aware of important announcements such as scholarship and financial aid deadlines as well as dates for college representative visits.
- Decide if you want to apply early. Discuss with parents and your college counselor.
- Apply for free and reduced lunch if you are eligible. If you are eligible, you are entitled to fee waivers for college tests and some college application fees.
- Schedule a meeting with your counselor.
- Stay focused! You are almost at the finish line!
- Make sure to make up any credits missing for graduation.
- READ THE MATERIAL WE HAND OUT TO YOU AND PLEASE SHARE IT WITH YOUR PARENTS — IT WILL ANSWER MANY OF YOUR QUESTIONS — THE BRAG SHEET CAN BE ACCESSED HERE ON THE WEBSITE.
