Register for the SAT Reasoning Test and the ACT; in addition also register for the SAT Subject Tests or ACT with writing if required.
Listen to the daily bulletins so you are aware of important announcements such as scholarship and financial aid deadlines as well as dates for college representative visits.
Decide if you want to apply early. Discuss with parents and your college counselor.
Apply for free and reduced lunch if you are eligible. If you are eligible, you are entitled to fee waivers for college tests and some college application fees.
Schedule a meeting with your counselor.
