As the principal of Oscar De La Hoya Animo Charter High School our goal is to continue to improve our school and truly make our families partners in their child’s education. It is my personal mission that all students are graduating from ODLHA ready for the challenges of college. News and Announcements

Twelve weeks in the making, the Hockey-Bot competition will showcase the engineering and computer science work of more than 100 students from Ánimo Leadership, Ánimo Inglewood, and Ánimo Pat Brown Charter High Schools. More than 36 teams have entered the competition, which will take place Wednesday, February at Ánimo Pat Brown Charter High School.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will meet Friday with members of United Parents, a group committed to empowering parents and families with the tools they need to eliminate the barriers to learning their children face and the issues that inhibit the quality of life in their neighborhoods. United Parents is a parent-driven organization with trainings and workshops provided by Green Dot Public Schools.
Students from Green Dot Public Schools will help kickoff a week of events promoting computer science education as part of the "Hour of Code" that has more than 35,000 classroom sessions planned nationwide this week.
