CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL

PARENT SERVICE HOURS

 

· Parents are responsible to contribute 15 hours of service to the school each semester. Hours may be set up with the office. Students may assist with these hours. All other volunteers must be over the age of 21.

 

· Parents are encouraged to attend parent conferences and stay informed about their child’s academic progress to receive service hours.

 

· Parents that do not serve the volunteer hours by their child’s senior year will affect their child’s participation in activities, including the graduation ceremony, grad night, and senior prom.

 

 

 

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES

 

· Help distribute lunches any day of the week from 12 pm to 1 pm.

 

· Stop by the office any day at any time and we will find some work for you to do. You do not need to call before you come.

 

· Attend PTA meetings and receive one service hour per meeting.

 

· Chaperone during dances and field trips.

 

· Have your child earn up to 10 service hours for you by helping a teacher or the office after school or before school.

 

 

Be sure to sign in in the main office each time you come to school to earn service hours. Remember, we need your help to ensure your child's success.
