Dear Parents,
I sincerely apologize for the fact that we have not corresponded over a month. With the recent semester and all our recent changes, we have been unable to send out communication envelopes. However, I am excited to finally share with you the many changes that have been instituted at our school recently.
As of last Monday, students are attending their new elective classes at the end of the day. Instead of mandating curriculum skills, we felt that students needed outlets at the end of each day. This has been a recommendation from our parents for some time and we are excited to finally implement their recommendations. Therefore, based on the order of first semester GPA’s from highest to lowest, students chose from a variety of electives including: advanced technology, beach volleyball, rugby, leadership & service, modern dance, alternative sports, film, art, peer counseling, and curriculum skills.
